Inglewood, California
Rosetta Ann Love began her life blessing into this world on November 22, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio born to Alice June Breckenridge and Eddie Renshaw. She was charismatic, easy going, loving and was loved by so many. Her heart and treasures was her family and church family. Rosetta loved God, her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and the Victory Baptist church family deeply! Rosetta was her own person and completely unapologetic about it! She enjoyed being a Mother and Grandmother. She loved all things gospel, old movies (especially Westerns) and was an avid tennis fan. She had many hobbies like reading novels, singing in the church choir, holiday cooking, BBQ'ing on the grill while watching everyone in the pool, playing cards with her friends, caring for her grandchildren, and traveling with her sisters in the church.
She moved to Los Angeles at a young age. She attended schools in Los Angeles: Elementary School at 111th Street, Middle School at Gompers and High School at Fremont where she met and married her High School Love, Howard Love. To this union, four children were born; Alice, Ryder, Erika and Anthony. Her baby boys' lives were ended early and she always had an empty place in her heart for those losses. She was a good mother, always allowing any of our friends who didn’t have a safe place to be, come to her net of shelter until God said otherwise.
Rosetta grow up in the church. Victory Baptist was her home since a young girl. She had been a member with Victory since the founder, Father Reverend A.A. Peters,
Reverend Charles Chapman and now, Dr. WE Jenkins. She was baptized in the church, married in the church, and served The Lord in the church with her time, talent and money. She served with the The Voices of Victory Choir, The General Mission, Sunday School committee, and was an integral member of the Joy Ministries.
Throughout her career, she worked hard as a Sales Representative to always provide a good home and safe place for her children and village to grow and thrive. Rosetta always made sure her children had a quality circle of influence around them. She always made sure to make memories especially around holidays. Christmas was always so beautiful and filled with blessings from God.
Those who proceeded her in death include her Mother (Alice June) and her Father (Eddie Renshaw), siblings: Eddie and Donald Renshaw, Aunts: Salome McBride, Pauletta Bell, Vendora Dome, Shirley Hurst amongst others.
She leaves to cherish her memory, younger sister Gwen Ovid(Daryl) , her Daughters: Alice Love and Erika Love; grandchildren: Tiani Beason, Ryan Joy Sr (Aja Joy) , Blake Beason Sr and Jordan Smith; great-grandchildren: Ryan Jr, Caleb, Blake Jr, Dylan, Amani, London and host of cousins, family and friends.
